Surveillance footage shows Fort Myers car burglary suspect

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Surveillance video appears to show a car burglary suspect tumbling into the backseat of the vehicle he’s accused of stealing.

The unidentified man is shown getting into the car through an open window. The victim had left the window open as the car sat Monday morning in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express on 3427 Forum Blvd., according to the Fort Myers Police Department, which released the video.
