SOUTH BAY, Fla. One person suffered critical injuries in a crash Saturday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 27 and State Road 80, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The single-vehicle wreck happened at 2:15 p.m., according to the FHP. Elizabeth Dyer Wilson, 53, of North Palm Beach, was riding a Harley Davidson eastbound on 27 when she lost control of it, authorities said. She was thrown from the bike after it overturned onto a grassy median. Wilson was flown to Lee Memorial Hospital where she remains in critical condition, according to the FHP. She was not wearing a helmet. No further information was immediately available.
