FORT MYERS, Fla. Crews responded to a fire Tuesday morning at a downtown retirement community, the Fort Myers Police Department said. The blaze began at around 9 a.m. in a bathroom inside a third-story unit at Calusa Harbor on 2525 First St., according to police. One resident and four employees were taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation, police said. No further information was immediately available.
