High-end luxury ‘man caves’ coming to Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, Fla. As Super Bowl Sunday approaches, many are preparing to spend the day in the “man cave.”

Now, John Ringland, the president of Ringland Development Corp, is bringing the concept to life through a project called “The Caves.”

Skyline Boulevard and Ninth Street will be transformed into 10 high-end storage units designed as hangout spots. Each unit will be between 1,000 and 1,100 square feet.

“All have bathrooms and air conditioning. [In] one of them, we’re building a loft that will have an 11-foot wet bar, full size refrigerator, large screen TV, and hardwood floors,” Ringland said. “We’re hoping to build a community of like-minded people who want a place to be able to comfortably keep their toys.”

The costs for one of these units ranges from $174,000 to $196,000 and are scheduled to be completed next month.
