LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — A 21-year-old man accused of assaulting a pregnant woman was arrested Friday, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers. Jerrion Gustave allegedly crawled through the window last weekend and inappropriately kissed and groped a pregnant teenager. Lee County detectives took Gustave into custody after receiving a tip based off released surveillance footage. Beth Woldridge, the victim’s mother, said the news of Gustave’s arrest came at the perfect time, as her daughter’s baby was born Thursday night. “Now my kids can feel safe to sleep in their room again and not worry about it,” she said. “He’s not going to be able to go out there and do that to some other girl.” Gustave is in custody facing charges of burglary and aggravated battery against a pregnant woman with no bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Saturday morning.
