NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — Two people were hospitalized following a head-on collision Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The accident occurred on State Road 31 near Bayshore Road just before 7 p.m. One person was flown to Lee Memorial Hospital while another was transported in an ambulance, officials said. It is unclear what caused the crash. No further information was immediately available.
