Man crawls into Lehigh Acres home, grabs pregnant teen

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — An unidentified suspect is at large following an incident Sunday morning where a man crawled through a window and kissed and grabbed a pregnant teen, authorities said.

The incident happened around 6:40 a.m. Crystal Woldridge, 17, was sleeping while the suspect, known only as Jamal, was looking for the woman’s sister, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

“I was scared,” Woldridge said. “I didn’t want to move or anything. I didn’t know if he had a weapon, so I listened to what he said so I wouldn’t get hurt, nor my child.”

Although he refused to leave the room, Woldridge, who is eight-months pregnant, was able to get away and inform her mother of the situation. Woldridge’s mother retrieved her concealed weapon, told him to leave, and he eventually complied.
