NAPLES, Fla. — Surveillance footage shows a cat leaping from the wheel of a truck entering a car wash. Workers noticed the soaking wet cat and rescued it Jan. 11 at Ultimate Express Car Wash on 5344 Immokalee Road. The cat’s story went viral, earning him the name “Suds.” But his future is uncertain. He wound up at a veterinarian’s office with a fever of 105 degrees, said Megan Sorbara, president of the Naples Cat Alliance. He’s currently recovering at Animal Specialty Hospital.
