John Trierweiler / WINK NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — Southwest Florida residents can check out a wide array of classic cars while eating barbecue for a good cause at Classic Auto Restoration Specialists. The auto shop is resuming its Barbecue Thursdays events from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Attendees are asked to contribute a $3 donation, which will benefit the Progeria Research Foundation. The organization’s mission is to find a cure for an aging-related disorder called Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome, according to the Progeria Foundation Facebook page.
