(MICHELLE KINGSTON/WINK News) LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — One person was wounded following a shooting Tuesday on Rue Labeau Circle near State Road 82 just outside of Lehigh Acres, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said. About a dozen patrol cars were on scene as deputies investigated. A blue 2002 Ford Taurus had several bullet holes along the drivers side, according to an LCSO incident report. The vehicle was stopped between 707 and 709 Rue LaBeau Circle, and was later towed away from the crime scene. One victim suffered was shot at least one time and was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, according to the report. The victim and witness present said they didn’t know who the alleged shooter was, according to the report. It’s unclear if a suspect has been identified. No further information is immediately available.
