Collier man arrested for possession of child porn

AVE MARIA, Fla. — A 42-year-old man was arrested Thursday after a large collection of child pornography was uncovered in his home.

Nicola Costello, of 5311 Ferrari Ave., is facing 100 counts for possessing child pornography and one count of promoting video.

Neighbors were shocked to hear what was happening behind closed doors.

“They had a lot of kiddy parties — like bouncy houses,” said neighbor Debbie Street. “They had parties all the time.”

Police reports show Costello was uploading child porn through Skype. Many of the children featured were under 12 years of age.

A search warrant was issued and deputies found numerous devices containing 100 images and videos of child porn.

Costello is currently in custody with a $210,000 bond.
