NORTH NAPLES, Fla. — Police lights lit up the parking lot outside of NCH Thursday to brighten the night of children who are sick.

Children inside were given glow wands to wave back. Crews also went inside the hospital to meet with the children and hand out presents.

Sergeant Glenn Tatum set up the event and said the idea was inspired by deputies in Orlando.

This was the first event of its kind in Collier County and he hopes to do it again.
