Lack of sleep one reason for increased crash fatalities

FORT MYERS, Fla. — As the fatal crash rate in Lee County continues to rise in 2016, some contributing factors include distracted driving, sleep deprivation and speeding.

Drivers who do not get at least seven hours of sleep are more likely to end up in a wreck, according to AAA.
