PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — An 18-year-old man was arrested Friday for allegedly burglarizing a car at the 23000 block of MacLellan Avenue. Kareem James, of 22413 Albany Ave., is facing multiple burglary charges after several items from the vehicle on MacLellan Avenue were found in his possession. Charlotte County deputies responded to a call about a vehicle burglary and believed the suspect was in the immediate area. Deputies tracked James down after a K-9 detected and followed his scent. Further investigation showed James was linked to to several other vehicle burglaries in the area. James is currently in custody at the Charlotte County Jail.
