6 people busted in Englewood drug raid

ENGLEWOOD, Fla. – Six people were arrested Friday in a home at the center of a previous drug raid, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said.

They were busted at 1640 Mel-O-De Lane and are facing charges for the possession of various narcotics, CCSO Spokesperson Skip Conroy said. Opiates, prescription drugs and methamphetamine were recovered, Conroy said.

Here are the charges the group is facing:

Todd Tyler: Possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance
Bennett Straesser: Possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and drug paraphernalia
Chesley Matheny: Possession of drug paraphernalia
Shawn Mullins: Possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and drug paraphernalia
Samantha James: Possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest without violence and failure to appear for a warrant
Consondra Barnhill: Possession of drug paraphernalia
