ELIAS YACOB / WINK News NAPLES, Fla. — A crash that left two injured shut down the southbound lanes of Airport-Pulling Road just south of Pine Ridge Road, Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Greg Bueno said. Tobin Finizio, 81, was traveling south on Airport-Pulling Road near Rustic Oaks Circle when he took a red light and crashed into 17-year-old Ana Caricic, who was heading east on Clubhouse Drive. Both cars came to a halt at the intersection. Finizio, who was seriously injured, was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital while Caricic was transported to North Collier Hospital. A second crash happened while authorities were directing traffic and a slow-moving car ran into the back of a fire truck, causing minor damage. It’s unclear if anyone was hurt in the second crash. Photos from the initial crash show extensive damage to a gray car.
