Photo via viewer Christopher Cowles NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — As many as 10 people, including two in wheelchairs, were aboard a Good Wheels bus that ignited on Pine Island Road between U.S. 41 and Business 41, the organization’s CEO said. No one appears to have been hurt. Everyone was able to get off the bus and the driver followed all proper procedures, according to Good Wheels CEO Allan Mandel. Good Samaritans helped with the rescue, Mandel said. It’s unclear what sparked the blaze. Good Wheels is a not-for-profit organization that provides transportation to the disabled, disadvantaged and elderly in Southwest Florida.
