JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) – A Jacksonville woman has been convicted of her infant son’s fatal drug overdose.

The Florida Times-Union (https://goo.gl/1I0GaK ) reports that Jamie Pearl Jones was found guilty Friday of aggravated manslaughter. She faces up to 30 years in prison when she’s sentenced next month.

Police say 3-month-old Hunter Lawendowski’s baby sitter found him lying on Jones’ chest in January 2014 at the family’s apartment. The child was later declared dead at a hospital.

An autopsy later revealed the child had oxycodone, methadone and Xanax in his system. Prosecutors say Jones tested positive for the same drugs.
