ENGLEWOOD, Fla. — Thousands of people are preparing for a weekend filled with food, entertainment and powerboat races at the Englewood Beach Racefest. The event lasts from Friday to Sunday, including two days of races on Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. Saturday’s race begins with the National OPA Championship and the winner of Sunday’s offshore race will be crowned the World Champion.
