Harry Chapin Food Banks helps SWFL families this Thanksgiving

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cape Coral Police Department Swat team will pick up donations from the Caldwell and Kerr Advertising Agency between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Wednesday to help the Harry Chapin Food Bank this Thanksgiving.

Caldwell and Kerr presented a proposition for local businesses to inspire more donations. The agency is located at 1521 Commerce Creek Blvd. in Cape Coral.

Also, CCPD Swat will collect donations beginning at 12 p.m. Thursday for the Holidays Heroes Food Drive. Officers will stop at three Cape Coral Walmart locations: 1619 Del Prado Blvd. South, 505 Southwest Pine Island Rd. and 2020 Northeast Pine Island Rd.

In addition, the Harry Chapin Food Bank is still accepting turkey donations, which can be dropped off at their Fort Myers and Naples locations.

The Fort Myers warehouse accepts turkey donations from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 376 Fowler St. The Naples warehouse accepts turkeys from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at 2221 Corporation Blvd.
