NAPLES, Fla. — A judge agreed to drastically reduce the bond for a student aide accused of slapping a blind child at Big Cypress Elementary School.

Barbara Margaron’s bond was lowered to $2,000 from $50,000. Investigators said the 47-year-old was caught on camera slapping a blind child across the face in the school’s cafeteria.

She was arrested last week on battery charges.
