PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – The Vietnam Wall of Southwest Florida was formally dedicated Saturday after years of community effort to bring it, the only memorial of its kind locally, to the area. The wall, located at 100 Nesbit St., is about half the size of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. It was funded by a $150,000 state grant to the Southwest Florida Vietnam Memorial Committee.
