FORT MYERS, Fla. — New surveillance footage shows the driver accused of killing a Cape Coral man in a deadly hit-and-run crash leaving a restaurant shortly before the crash.

Adam Costello, who faces charges in the death of 18-year-old Adam King, is shown making multiple stops, the last one being at The WingHouse Bar and Grill on US 41. With him is Dan Sinclair, a former Lee County Supervisor of Elections candidate who has been linked to the crash but has never been named a suspect.

Security cameras show Costello and Sinclair entering the WingHouse at 9:42 p.m. Video shows Costello going to and from the bathroom throughout the night until he left the restaurant at 10:38 p.m.

King was riding his blue motorcycle when he was struck on Colonial Boulevard at 11 p.m.

Witnesses told police they saw Costello’s white truck swerving down Colonial Boulevard at that time, less than 30 minutes after surveillance video showed Costello leaving the WingHouse.
