$100M fundraising goal reached for new SWFL children’s hospital

FORT MYERS, Fla. –After five years, the Lee Health Foundation achieved its goal of raising $100 million for a new Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.

Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida is part of Lee Health and is the only acute care children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami. The new hospital is expected to open in 2017 on HealthPark Medical Center’s campus.
