Photo via Glassdoor FORT MYERS, Fla. – A letter sent Oct. 28 to Heritage Institute faculty promised that the Southwest Florida campus would remain open, just days before the school was shut down Tuesday over financial problems. On Wednesday, some students were still reeling from the news. Others arrived to campus unaware that their classes have been canceled permanently. Students can go to the Florida Department of Education’s website for information about their transcripts and loan forgiveness.
