IMMOKALEE, Fla. — One person suffered serious injuries in a Tuesday crash at the intersection of State Road 29 and State Road 82, Florida Highway Patrol said. A 2016 Dodge Ram was in the left turning lane at the intersection of State Road 29 and State Road 82. The 2016 Chevy Silverado was driving southbound on State Road 29. The Dodge turned and the two cars collided. As a result, the Chevy moved southeast and hit a 2002 Ford F150, which was behind the the Dodge, according to FHP. The driver of the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado had serious injuries, and was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, according to FHP. The northbound and southbound lanes of State Road 29 were closed, but FHP has confirmed the roadway is now clear.
