NAPLES, Fla. — A pair of proposed state constitutional amendments on the ballot this year deal with tax exemptions for certain groups. Amendment 5 would give seniors who’ve lived in their homes for at least 25 years a tax break, while Amendment 3 would allow any first responder injured in the line of duty to pay less in property tax. Some of those who could be affected by the changes shared their stories with WINK News.
