Dia de los Muertos Returns to Masa

NAPLES, Fla. – In honor of the fast approaching Day of the Dead holiday or Dia de los Muertos, Masa in Naples is once again hosting a celebration.

The two day event will feature a special entree, Costillas Coloradas braised short ribs with puya, quajillo, roasted acorn squash and Mexican rice. Along with an appetizer of Pulpitos shrimp stuffed avocado with baby squid tossed in a squid ink chili broth, both created by Chef, Roel Mesta and his culinary team.

A specialty hand crafted Jack-o-lantern Margarita, created specifically for this celebration will also accompany the food along with a Day of the Dead IPA beer, “Hop on or Die.” Live music from the band ODAS will entertain guests starting at 9:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday nights.

Kids and adults can even have their face painted like a traditional Dia de los Muertos sugar skull, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday and 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.
