Lalita Odom FORT MYERS, Fla. — The family of a mother shot and killed on the 3000 block of Dora Street in June in the wake of last week’s arrest in the case. Benjamin Allen, who is listed as homeless, is accused of killing 23-year-old Lalita “Lala” Odom. The death left a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old without their mother. “It took a piece of my heart and I don’t think I’ll be able to get that back,” said Odom’s sister, Calinnea Brown.
