Surveillance video shows attempted Port Charlotte break-in

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — Four men were caught on camera Sunday morning trying to break into the MetroPCS Score at 2672 Tamiami Trail.

The men, all wearing hoodies, tried to break the glass door using a glass punch but couldn’t, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said.

Three were believed to be black and the other’s race is unknown. One was wearing a white mask and another, in a blue hoodie, wore what appeared to be a Star Wars Kylo Ren Mask, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to call the sheriff’s office at 941-639-2101.
