ELLEN THALLS / WINK News NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — Although it’s been nearly a week since a fire at Paradise Marina damaged several boats, the marina still hasn’t cleared the wreckage. The fire occurred on Oct. 15 from an electrical problem on one of the boats. However, the owner wasn’t able to extinguish the fire and it spread to four boats, killing two pets and displacing two families. Several insurance companies are currently assessing the damages. A GoFundMe page has also been set up to help the victims of the fire.
