KANSAS CITY, Fla. – Staff members at no-kill animal shelter Kansas City Pet Project celebrated the adoption of 281 pets by climbing into empty cages. Their excitement was obvious in a video showing people cheering, clapping and even dancing from open cages. The adoptions happened during a large matching initiative. KC Pet Project’s mission is to end euthanasia for pets who are healthy or have ailments that can be treated. See their celebration below:
