PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – For the 35th time the skies above Charlotte County are coming to life with some of the best aviation performers in the country. A large number of aviation static displays will be on hand throughout various ramps at the Punta Gorda Airport and if you look above you’ll see even more excitement. From Wild Blue RV8, Jerry “Jive” Kirby to the Walkabout Tiger Acrobatic Team along with Gary Ward in his MX2 and the United States Army Golden Knights, will join several others in thrilling fans below. Gates on Friday open at 4:30 p.m. where fans can view a dusk show complete with fireworks and a Golden Knight pyrotechnic jump, along with a MiG-17 Fighter fly by.
