Bond set for alleged Cape Coral Winn-Dixie robber

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Bond was set at more than $100,000 on Sunday for a man accused of robbing a Cape Coral Winn-Dixie.

Brian M. Hernandez-Vargas Coral is also accused of committing one misdemeanor and 18 felonies. He is charged with fraud, driving with a suspended license, burglary, larceny, robbery, and aggravated assault, the LCSO inmate booking detail report said.

The state requests that Hernandez-Vargas not go near the Winn Dixie at 1016 E. Cape Coral Parkway, a court deputy said.

His next court appearance will be at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 14 at the Lee County Justice Center.
