FORT MYERS, Fla. — A Fort Pierce man was arrested for assaulting a motel clerk with cookies. Fort Pierce police said Steve Enalien, 35, walked into the Super 8 Hotel and attempted to take food and coffee from the breakfast area. When the clerk questioned him, he said he wasn’t staying the hotel. When the clerk told him the food was only for guests, he threw a container of chocolate chip cookies at her, hitting her in the arm. Enalien is currently in custody facing charges of battery with a $750 bond.
