FORT MYERS, Fla. — Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is still searching for the “brown bag bandit” who went on a robbery spree in Lee and Collier counties two weeks ago. Detectives are looking for information on a man who robbed five stores in the same fashion. He implied each time that he had a gun hidden underneath a brown paper bag and would leave with an unknown amount of cash. The suspect would flee on foot and it is believed there was always a vehicle nearby. Anyone with information on the suspect should call Crime Stoppers at 1-(800)-780-TIPS (8447).
