IMMOKALEE, Fla. — A 15-year-old boy shot himself by accident and injured his leg at Colorado Avenue and 7th Street South, a Collier County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said. The teen was inside a shed when the gun went off in his pocket, according to the boy’s family. The teenager was flown to Lee Memorial’s Trauma Center, deputies said. It is unclear why the teen had a gun.
