The robber held his right hand in a paper bag, put it to the employee’s head and pressed for money, authorities said. He then took an unknown amount and fled the scene. There were no injuries, deputies said.

While the 7-Eleven employee did not see a weapon, deputies said he told detectives he “felt something hit his head.”

The suspect wore a gray sweatshirt with a maroon stripe on the shoulder and a blue wrap, hiding part of his face. He is approximately six feet tall and weighs 190 lbs, detectives said.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact CCSO at 239-252-9300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
