NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — A robbery on Poinsettia Drive caused North Fort Myers High School and Tropic Isles Elementary School to be placed on lockdown.

The schools took the initial measure due to having law enforcement in the area, the Lee County School District said.

No injuries were reported in the robbery, a Lee County Sheriff’s Office official said, and LCSO is in pursuit.

No additional information was immediately available.
