The rent prices for three bedroom homes in Fort Myers and Cape Coral have gone up 26 percent over the last year and the average rent for a single family home is a little over $1,800. Many people are partaking in Rent-To-Own programs, meaning they rent homes at a slight premium until they’re cleared for a bank loan and are ready to buy it.
