Frustrated residents want stop sign on Lehigh Acres street

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – East 10th Street has a 35 mph speed limit, but on any given day drivers speed down the road, passing those who choose to drive the legal limit. Neighbors said they are fed up, but the stop signs they want are only used to control traffic at intersections, not to deter speeding, according to federal guidelines.
