FORT MYERS, Fla. – Three people were arrested in connection with a Saturday afternoon bank robbery where shots were fired, Fort Myers police said Sunday.

Thermal Glover Jr., 20, of 3514 Dora St. in Fort Myers; Le’Nal Shenard Glover, 19, of 2407 S. Paul Ave. in Lehigh Acres; and Ajaria Sharda Simon, 19, of 4924 Gulfview Blvd. in Lehigh Acres, were apprehended after vehicle and foot pursuits. All face charges of robbery with a firearm, while Glover faces an additional charge of violating probation.

All remained in the Lee County jail Sunday, with Thermal Glover Jr. under no bond, Le’Nal Glover under a $50,000 bond and Simon under a $30,000 bond.

The trio were arrested in connection with a robbery at Chase Bank on Lee Boulevard. After the robbery, their vehicle was spotted in the area of Leonard and Lee boulevards by a Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputy. The vehicle refused to stop, then crashed after one of its tires came off, police said.

“Three suspects were observed fleeing from the vehicle and were later apprehended after a lengthy search by law enforcement,” the department said in a statement.
