FORT MYERS, Fla. — A spruced-up exterior now greets passers-by at McCollum Hall, a once-thriving event center in Dunbar that had fallen into disrepair after going unused for decades. Still, it’s just the first phase of a multimillion-dollar renovation project for the building that first opened in 1938. Phase one cost $2.3, and an additional $2.5 is needed.
