Group leads calls for restoration of Fort Myers Beach arches

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – A Facebook group wants to revive a piece of history by restoring the iconic arches that once stood at the gateway to the beach. The arches were torn down in 1979, but renewed interest in the structures has gained the attention of Commissioner Larry Kiker.
