Profanity-laced exchange pits Bongino, Politico reporter in legal tango

NAPLES, Fla. – Republican Congressional candidate Dan Bongino engaged in a profanity-laced heated exchange with a Politico reporter, who then posted a recording of the conversation on YouTube. Bongino says he never agreed for the call to be recorded, which would make it illegal under Florida law, but reporter Marc Caputo said he informed Bongino on Twitter that he was doing so. Both have since obtained legal counsel.
