Crash blocks Leonard Blvd. at Gunnery Road

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — A crash has blocked all eastbound lanes on Leonard Boulevard at the intersection with Gunnery Road, Florida Highway Patrol said.

The wreck initially caused southbound delays for drivers on Gunnery headed toward Fort Myers, but those have since dissipated.

At least one person was hurt in the crash, which took place at about 6:45 a.m., according to FHP.

Leonard Boulevard becomes 23rd Street Southwest east of the Gunnery intersection.
