FORT MYERS, Fla.- Two men believed to be responsible for at least 20 residential burglaries in Tampa have been traced to Southwest Florida, Crime Stoppers said. More than $500,000 in jewelry and other items have been stolen, authorities said. Recently, some of the credit cards stolen from the Tampa homes have been used, or attempted to be used, in Collier County. Surveillance cameras from one of the homes targeted captured a clear image of one of the suspects. The men were last seen driving a black, newer model Jeep Renegade. Anyone with information on the identities of the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
