NAPLES, Fla.- The number of Collier County parents who are choosing to homeschool their kids has increased 47 percent in the past five years. To help with social interaction and extracurricular activities, 22 families in the county are now involved with the Rise program where homeschooled students can be in a classroom setting once a week and learn from other teachers.
