Lee supervisor of elections candidate still running despite controversy

FORT MYERS, Fla. — The campaign goes on.
Dan Sinclair, whose name has been linked to the investigation into a fatal hit-and-run crash, said he’s not abandoning his campaign to become Lee County Supervisor of Elections.
That’s despite a police search of his home Thursday. Sinclair says he had nothing to do with the crash that took the life of Adam King in Fort Myers, adding that he didn’t witness the wreck, either.
None of his opponents have called upon him to quit the race in advance of the Aug. 30 primary. Sinclair believes his business and technology backgrounds make him the best choice for the job.
