Locals to compete against Cuban national baseball team

FORT MYERS, Fla. – A group of young teenagers with the Fort Myers Baseball Academy is on its way to Cuba where it will compete against 14-year-old players on the national team. The Giants are one of the first U.S. youth baseball teams to travel to the country since the U.S. reopened its embassy less than a year ago.
